About AGIMEX

Agronomy-led agricultural project development, engineering and delivery, through installation and commissioning within the agreed scope.

Concept diagramHow we work

Five connected steps: agronomy sets the requirement, engineering turns it into a system, integration connects the disciplines, field operation shows how the system behaves, and performance review compares expected with actual.

  1. AgronomyThe crop and its growing conditions set the requirement.
  2. EngineeringRequirements become a designed system.
  3. IntegrationWater, structure, climate and control work as one.
  4. Field / operationThe installed system is observed as it runs.
  5. PerformanceExpected behaviour is compared with actual.

A Short History

AGIMEX was established in İzmir in 2026, building on professional experience in agricultural projects, irrigation, field implementation and engineering that was accumulated before the company was formed. That experience, gained across different climates, terrain, water sources and operating conditions, showed that standard solutions are not sufficient for every agricultural project: where water is scarce, soils or terrain are difficult, or an operation’s real constraints are overlooked, a system that is correct on paper does not hold up in the field. Good outcomes require agricultural requirements, engineering decisions, systems integration and field implementation to be considered together. AGIMEX was established to turn that approach into a structured corporate model, and today it treats a project not as a choice of products or equipment but as one connected whole, from defining the requirement through engineering and systems integration to implementation and commissioning. AGIMEX has operated as a legal entity since 2026. The professional and field experience that predates its incorporation informs the company’s approach; it is not presented as AGIMEX corporate history or as projects completed by AGIMEX.

Agronomy First

The crop and its growing conditions establish the starting point. Engineering translates those requirements into systems; field observations and operating data help assess how those systems perform.

A Connected Approach

Turnkey agricultural projects, irrigation and water management, greenhouse projects, data-driven agriculture and agribusiness advisory are carried as one practice rather than five departments. They are peers: none is a support function for the others, and which one leads is decided by the project. Each assignment starts with a defined scope, a written division of responsibility and the information a decision requires. Within that scope AGIMEX develops, engineers, integrates and delivers agricultural projects: depending on the contract, delivery can include procurement and supply, field implementation and installation, automation, testing and commissioning. AGIMEX does not manufacture greenhouse structures or irrigation equipment, and it is not a software vendor. Calling a project turnkey does not by itself set the contract model: scope, supply, installation and construction responsibility, commercial risk and acceptance are defined in the contract for each project, which is why turnkey is not automatically an EPC or lump-sum arrangement.

Operating Base, Commercial Focus and Verified Experience

These are three different things and we keep them apart. AGIMEX is based in Türkiye and that is where its operations run. Its commercial focus extends to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia and the CIS — meaning these are markets the practice is equipped to work in and actively seeks projects in. Verified project experience is narrower than commercial focus, and it is published only through the project studies on this site, at the evidence level each one supports. We do not publish counts of countries, projects or years: until a verified tally exists, such figures create an impression of precision that the underlying record does not carry.

How We Work

Five principles carry the engineering. Agronomy before equipment: the crop and its conditions set the requirement, and engineering meets it. Requirements before products: technology is specified against engineering criteria rather than chosen first. System-level engineering: what is engineered is the behaviour of the whole and the interfaces between its parts. Measurement before assumption: every figure carries its origin, and missing data is recorded as unknown rather than filled in. Verification before optimisation: a command is not an outcome, so a system is confirmed to be doing what it was designed to do before it is tuned. Each engagement starts with a defined scope, a written division of responsibility and a list of what a decision requires.

How we engineer

A six-step closed loop of reasoning: requirement asks what the production system must achieve, engineering intent asks what system behaviour meets it, operation asks how the system is actually run, observation asks what is measurably happening, verification asks whether intent and observation agree, and decision asks what the difference means. The loop closes: what the decision produces feeds the next requirement and the next engineering decision.

  1. RequirementWhat must the production system achieve?
  2. Engineering intentWhat system behaviour meets that requirement?
  3. OperationHow is the system actually run?
  4. ObservationWhat is measurably happening?
  5. VerificationDo intent and observed behaviour agree?
  6. DecisionWhat does the difference mean, and what should change?

Observation → Requirement

This is a way of reasoning, not a fixed sequence every project executes in full. Where AGIMEX's scope ends at design, the observation and verification steps never engage. It contains no measured result and no performance guarantee.

At Agimex, agronomy sits at the center of everything we do. Systems are not the goal; they are tools designed to meet the plant's needs with accuracy and sustainability.

Our Philosophy

What We Believe

Four principles that guide every project, every decision, every relationship.

Agronomy First

Every decision starts with understanding the plant—its needs, its cycle, its relationship with soil and climate. Technology follows biology, not the other way around.

Field Reality

We evaluate projects against field conditions, not assumptions made at a desk. Engineering decisions are tied to observation and measurement, so that what a system does in the field can be checked against what it was designed to do.

Partnership, Not Sales

Working with AGIMEX means working with a team that understands the investment behind the engineering. Responsibilities are defined in writing for each project, and our recommendations are not tied to selling a product.

Long-term Performance

A project is not finished on handover day. We design for durability, maintainability and the operating life of the system, and we plan how its performance will be verified over time.

Official Netafim dealer

AGIMEX is an official Netafim dealer. Netafim irrigation and fertigation technologies are integrated into AGIMEX projects where they meet the project's engineering and agronomic requirements: technology selection follows water quality, crop, site conditions and operating needs.

Explore our capabilities

Turnkey Agricultural Projects

For investors and agricultural operations, AGIMEX undertakes turnkey and integrated agricultural projects — turnkey greenhouse, orchard, irrigation and field irrigation projects — combining project development and engineering, procurement and supply, systems integration, installation, automation, testing and commissioning within one agreed scope. “Turnkey” describes that integrated delivery scope, not a fixed EPC or lump-sum contract model; responsibilities are defined in each contract.

Irrigation Engineering & Water Management

Irrigation design and engineering for commercial farms, orchards and greenhouses, and turnkey irrigation and field irrigation projects: AGIMEX carries crop-led hydraulic design and system specification and, within the agreed scope, procurement and supply, fertigation, automation, installation, testing and commissioning. AGIMEX does not manufacture irrigation equipment.

Greenhouse Projects

Greenhouse project design and engineering, and turnkey greenhouse projects, for growers and investors: AGIMEX connects crop strategy, structure, water, nutrients, climate and control in one design and, within the agreed scope, carries systems integration, procurement and supply, irrigation, fertigation, automation, installation, testing and commissioning. AGIMEX does not manufacture greenhouse structures; they come from qualified manufacturers.

Data-Driven Agriculture

For farms, greenhouses and agricultural investments with installed or planned infrastructure: AGIMEX defines the measurement architecture and monitoring requirements, reads operating data against the engineering design, and sets up decision support and performance evaluation. This is engineering and agronomic decision support, not a software product.

Agribusiness Advisory

Agricultural feasibility studies, technical due diligence, project preparation and design review for agricultural investments — advisory grounded in production systems, technical feasibility and operating realities.
